One of the reason previous One Touch owners switch to the One Touch Ultra 2 Blood Glucose Monitoring System is the very simple feature of a backlit display. Older versions don’t have this feature which made it hard to check blood sugar levels in the dark. This glucose monitor is much simpler than the gold medal winner, so you won’t be hooking it up to a computer. But one of the things it can tell you is before meal and after meal blood sugar averages, which is important information to the diabetic. If you would like to save a few bucks from the Bayer then I think this would be a good pick for you. |
