Woke up to see the driveway covered in nice soft, white fluffy snow. Probably about 5-6 inches of it. Cranked up the snow blower and made quick work of it. I suppose I should have shoveled it, but I felt like getting it done quickly. Did some shopping; picked up some winter gloves, some Under Armor gloves for walking out in the cold, a heart rate monitor (old one has decided to stop working), some warm clothes, bunch of office supplies, etc etc. I also went to Dick’s Sporting Goods and checked out their treadmills and ellipticals. I’m leaning to the latter.
Last week I may have found myself out at least one fast food joint during a shopping spree like this, maybe even two. But not this week.
Here’s how I did today:

Breakfast was a whey protein shake, made with 8oz of skim milk and a half cup of frozen cherries. For lunch I had a salad with chopped romaine hearts, red peppers, mushrooms, carrots and a baby cucumber, just salt, pepper and balsamic vinegar to dress it. Glass of v8.
Dinner was a bowl of soup, puffed rice crackers and a side of olives, pickles and sport peppers. Dessert was a bowl of blackberries, pomegranate seeds and raspberries. I had an early dinner so I ended up having a snack tonight as well, a nice plate of veggies with carrots, red pepper, cucumbers and celery.
I have to say I don’t think I can do much better than this.
