I used to use them with a headband. I then switched to the kind that wrap around the back of the ear but even those tend to move away from the ear. Nothing worse than to be listening to a highly motivational song and then your right ear bud falls out causing the left one to soon follow. I actually ripped my Ipod right out of my pocket by stepping on a fallen ear bud. Was my little embarrassing moment at the gym. When running out doors I actually use a head band to keep my ears warm and keep the ear buds semi pushed in. Yep – the real beauty of it over the solution you have done, where I am assuming you still have wires running from your ears down to your MP3 player, is that because the MP3 player is in the headband it really is more like a wireless solution.
