You should focus on fat loss rather than weight loss. If you&#039;re building muscle using the strength training, your weight might not decrease. However body fat can because of the increased muscle mass, and increased amount of calories burned. But you don&#039;t see that on the weight scale.

Track body fat once a week using a fat caliper. You might also want to check out one of my reader&#039;s training log, &lt;a href=&quot;http://stronglifts.com/forum/discussion/108/1/tonys-training-log/&quot;&gt;Tony&lt;/a&gt;. He has similar stats to you, is doing StrongLifts 5x5 program since 2-3 months now and getting results. Might inspire you.
