Reader of the Month for November, 2007

December 1, 2007 · 3 comments

My reader of the month is Diana from Scale Junkie, who left 17 comments here in November.  A Scale Junkie is not what Diana is any more - she writes on her blog that she is a reformed scale junkie having learned “that the scale is only one measure of progress towards the path to better health.”

Diana started her blog back in May and after a slow start has been a frequent poster since August.  In a comment on my blog she once wrote:

I really think blogging is helping me because it makes me think about my diet and my goals every single day. I have to put thought and effort into what I’m doing and I’ve made a commitment to blog daily and catch up with fellow bloggers to provide support as much as possible.

I feel very much the same way.  I haven’t been able to get out and be as supportive of others as I would like, but Diana has definitely been walking the talk - she has continually showed very positive support for me via comments here, and I’ve seen her doing the same for others.

Here are some of my favorite posts of Diana’s from November:

Surviving Black Friday

Walking In Circles

You’re Going The WRONG WAY!

Welcome To November!

Diana is a supportive reader who does a great job both maintaining her own blog and helping to support others.  Subscribe to her feed if you haven’t already.

Congratulations to Diana for being my Reader of the Month!

Does it count if I make four posts in a row, one word at a time? HA!

Its a good thing I picked today to catch up on blogs, especially when you quote me about supporting other bloggers. I’ve barely had time to post and have neglected reading for over a week…today is catch up day for me.

I just sort of chuckled when you wrote seeing obese people in London…I thought to myself, they are probably American tourists. I did know a few obese people when I lived in the UK but for the most part, I was the very noticeable morbidly obese woman that people stared at.

Yes Israel, I did win once before too…what can I say? I like to talk a lot :-)

Thank you John for all of your kind words about my blog.
