We are staying at the Hotel Concortel on rue Pasquier in Paris. Breakfast at the hotel is a standard continental, which means lots of bread, which I am trying to stay away from.
This is what comes with breakfast:
Freshly squeezed orange juice
Hot drinks
Basket of baked goods (croissants, bread, cake, Danish pastries, etc.)
Possible supplement: free-range eggs, fruit salad, yogurt, breakfast cereals, etc.
Of course the eggs, fruit and yogurt costs extra.
I’m going to do my best to minimize my consumption of “croissants, bread, cake, Danish pastries, etc.” which is going to be really tough. And then you’ve got the quick sandwiches for lunch and all that fresh baked bread for dinner. And the cream, and the fat. Oh my.
Strength.
