This has been a good week on the health front. On the blog front, not so much. What should have been a great week for me has turned very frustrating as my site has been flaky at best this week. While it still loads fine in a browser other services that need to access it programmatically like Feedburner are showing timeouts. I’ve been getting a nice stream of visitors from the 2007 Weblog Awards but my feed has been broken more than it has been working, meaning that the odds are good that if any of those new readers did like what they saw, that they could not subscribe. And in today’s world that means a lost reader - most people don’t bookmark anymore, they simply subscribe to a feed.
It’s not a Feedburner problem, it’s my web site. Unfortunately Tech Support at Dreamhost has been as of yet unable to help. Crossing fingers.
