- Total weight lost: 23 lbs
I finally managed to establish a new low after having posted a 273 three weeks ago. Feels good to see the graph looking better again. All in all this was a good week - I didn’t exercise very much but for the most part I was solid on my eating and that’s what got me through. I’m not starving myself either - I’m eating well, just smart and healthy.
Things I did well this week:
- Took a couple of long walks with my wife.
- I’ve had less than a half dozen small Halloween chocolates. More on this later!
- My wife and I saw American Gangster in the theatre last night (which we really liked) and all I had was a large water. And I didn’t crave anything.
- Except as noted below, ate really well all week.
Things I did not so well this week:
- For the third week in a row I did very little cardio. I really need to pick this up if I want to start putting up big numbers.
- Only lifted weights a couple of days.
- As previouslly noted, had one binge night eating. One isn’t bad but I need it to be zero.
I’m hoping I can put up a big number this week while I am staying home on vacation. I’m going to need it because the next week I am in Chicago for a couple of days and then I’ll be in Europe (Paris, London, Munich) from the 21st through Dec. 1st. It’s going to be nearly impossible for me to keep up my exercise let alone eat properly. This could have the makings of a bad month, but I’ve got to grind through it - I’ve got a goal of losing 6 pounds which is the monthly average I am looking to maintain for awhile. The good news for my diet is I won’t be partaking in a Thanksgiving feast this year.
This also wasn’t a good month to commit to NaBloPoMo!
