- Week weight lost: 2 lbs
- Total weight lost: 14 lbs
Looks like I might be starting to get some consistency now, this is the 4th week in a row with the scale showing a loss. The tape measure also was kind, indicating that I have lost an inch on my waist as well. I had a pretty good week sticking to the plan, although it was certainly far from perfect. Next week is going to be a challenge because I’ll be traveling for work Monday through Wednesday and then going camping next weekend. It’s going to be tough to stay on both my exercise and eating plan. But I’ll do the best I can.
Things I did well this week:
- Followed my strength training program every day for the fifth straight week.
- Followed my cardio program for the 3rd straight week.
- Have started to develop some habits around drinking water.
- I’ll give myself a B on the eating for the week.
Things I did not so well this week:
- I didn’t have any major food binges but I did have a few times where I nibbled things that I didn’t need to. Example last night for dessert I had a 70 calories ice cream bar but when my wife didn’t finish her waffle bowl sundae the kids and I ate up the rest of her caramel soaked waffle bowl. No reason for that.
My goal for weight loss in September is a total of 8 pounds and with 2 weeks remaining I have only 3 pounds to go. Next week is really going to be a struggle for me, however, so it might not be as easy to get there as it sounds. If I can at least stay flat next week I’ll have a chance to hit my goal. But I’m going to try everything I can to lock up a loss next week as well despite all of the travel.
