I’ve become a contributor at FatBloggers.net, a group of eleven bloggers all working to build a support network to help achieve our goals.  This description is from our about page:

The premise is this: Any time I’ve been successful in losing weight, it’s been because I’ve been accountable to somebody else for it. The more accountable I am, the more weight I lose. It’s as simple as that. This site is for anybody out there who is trying to lose weight to join in and share in that accountability. It’s a two-way street.

My first post there called The Importance of Honesty is a follow-up to my Confession Time.  Give it a read and let me know what you think.

I read both posts. And it’s true. You have to be honest with yourself if you expect to be honest with anyone else. Overeating is like an addiction for me. I do the same kinds of things you’ve talked about—hiding how much I’m really eating so I can blame my metabolism or anything else for my weight gain. But in my heart, I know the truth. I’m trying to face the decisions I make about food and deal with them appropriately. Just because no one sees me eat it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t count.

Thanks Lady! I’m still trying to sort out what I will post here versus what I will post there but I’ll get it straightened away.
