Off to a good start

So yesterday went pretty well, but it’s always easier for me to eat well when I am at home - fast food and business travel are two of my biggest challenges.  I grazed a little bit at night after dinner but didn’t gorge on anything and pretty much kept in line.  I have to stop buying Marcona almonds, at 190 calories for a 1/4 cup they are too much for me to be snacking on.  So tasty though.

Played some DDR Universe for about 30 minutes, according to the workout mode I spent about 100 calories.  Yeah, I’m still on beginner.

 I’m at 292.

Traveling is really difficult for me too. It can be so frustrating and I fall back into bad eating patterns. When I’m by myself it’s not too bad but social situations are especially hard for me. I guess I see other people eat what they want and just jump on board. Silly, because I’ll never be able to do that.

DDR sounds fun! :)

Hi John,

Another weight loss blogger guy here. Like you, I am just getting started on my blog. I’ve been eating healthier all week and planning meals in advance seems to be the key for me.

I have to say I also find DDR to be great exercise!

I’ll be back to read your upcoming posts.

Mymsie - I fall into bad routines when traveling, and I know it’s going to be hard to get out of them. My travel schedule is light this month so hopefully that will help get me on the right path.

Poundslayer - I’ve linked to you too - good luck to both of us!
