Oh NO. I seriously just ate a half of an avacado with my lunch. They are like the almonds, aren't they? Good for me....and reasonable calorie-wise...if I eat like TWO of them.

Thanks for your comment J! I linked to your site so we can keep in touch. I can already tell that one of the big benefits of putting yourself out like this (telling the world what you are struggling with) is that you build up this support group you don't want to let down. When you reach for that ice cream you stop now (like I did last night) instead of putting 3 or 4 scoops in like I would have if you weren't "watching".

Now that only works if I am honest, so I've got to push myself to be so. It isn't going to be easy.

At least avocados are healthy. They have a lot of fat in them but it is the good fat and they are packed full of nutrients! It's a huge step forward from fast food 2-3 times a day. Also, if that is all you had for breakfast it is a perfectly okay amount of calories. Me, I like to go for protein shakes and fruit in the mornings...it keeps me full and helps me maintain control.

Weight loss is hard...for me harder than almost anything. But it can be done. Love yourself enough to do it...we can do it together!

OK, so this isn't really big enough for a new post so I'm just going to add it as a comment. I love Avocados. When they are in season it would not be unusual for me to have one or even two in a day. On my first day of the new me I decided to just have an avocado for breakfast. I just found out they are around 300 calaries each! Oh no!!
